Vladyslav Logos

Tarleton State University graduate student Vladyslav Logos is poised to share his pioneering clinical research on mental health at the esteemed eighth annual International Conference on Education and Psychology (ICEAP) in Fukuoka, Japan, from July 18th to 20th. Hailing from Kyiv, Ukraine, Logos, currently pursuing his master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Tarleton State’s Fort Worth campus, sees this opportunity as an honor to represent the university on the global stage.

With a background in music, Logos transitioned to a career in medicine and science to make a meaningful contribution to humanity, having previously worked as a clinical psychologist/therapist in Ukraine. His research, conducted in collaboration with Dr. Nikki Hurless, focuses on addressing prevalent mental health concerns among refugees, aiming to develop effective interventions for maintaining mental well-being during times of forced migration from war-torn countries.
