Biomanufacturing - The Necessary

Workforce Development in North Texas

The tremendous growth of the biopharmaceutical sector in the United States presents a unique opportunity for North Texas to rapidly accelerate the growth of its biomanufacturing footprint. Aligning regional and statewide workforce partners to support this growth is critical – and will involve a diverse array of partners spanning biotechnology firms, universities, community colleges, K-12 educators, regional economic developers, and workforce boards to ensure a ready supply of new talent. This session will explore how Texas educators are using best practices learned from other states to build programs that will ensure a robust biotech workforce for our state. The Session will highlight the importance of broad communication, collaboration, and partnership to ensure tomorrow’s biomanufacturing workforce is ready in North Texas. Join us and be part of the conversation.
