Texas is atop many lists for economic growth. While this news is reason to celebrate, it is equally important to maintain this momentum. For example, biomanufacturing is one growing industry where the state has a lot of potential for growth. The Texas Regional Industrial Biomanufacturing Certification (TRIBEC) is dedicated to creating a talent pool of Texans with the skills necessary to attract new investments.
Led by the National Center for Therapeutics Manufacturing (NCTM) at Texas A&M University, TRIBEC includes community colleges, training centers, and industry partners. Together, they are using the existing infrastructure of Texas’ community college system to standardize the training process and create a centralized talent pipeline.
