Years ago, I chose to accelerate my career as an operations specialist by moving to Boston and working for some of the largest biotech firms in the nation. An important factor in that decision was the relative imbalance I found then between opportunities in my home of Texas and what New England offered an ambitious, hardworking, science professional.
