High School Students in North Texas Tackle Cancer Research with Pizza and Passion

In the classrooms of North Texas, a remarkable initiative is underway as high school students take on the challenge of cancer research. Motivated by their passion for making a difference and fueled by the camaraderie of sharing pizza, these young minds are diving into the complex world of medical science.

Leading the charge is Rohan Nepal, a student in the Harmony school district, who is spearheading efforts to develop a vaccine aimed at assisting newborns struggling with fat breakdown issues. Nepal's inspiration came from his own research endeavors, where he discovered a gap in existing research on the subject.

This ambitious project has brought together students from various schools within the Harmony district, united by their shared goal of advancing medical innovation. With the support of a university professor specializing in vaccine design, these students are gaining invaluable insights and guidance as they navigate the intricacies of their research.
