Tarleton State Breaks Ground on Health Professions Building, Poised to Lead in Rural Healthcare

Tarleton State University reached a significant milestone as they broke ground this afternoon for an $80 million Health Professions Building. This strategic initiative aims to solidify the university's position as a leader in rural healthcare across the state of Texas.

Approved by The Texas A&M System Board of Regents in November of the previous year, the project is slated for completion by the summer of 2025. Dr. James Hurley, President of Tarleton State University, expressed his optimism, stating that the institution is poised to become the educational epicenter for rural healthcare not only in the region but beyond.
