TCU Receives $1M Grant from Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to Study Health Disparities
TCU’s Dr. Dru Riddle is the principal investigator on a $1 million grant to prioritize research topics to advance racial health equity. Riddle, director of TCU’s Center for Translational Research, will lead a prestigious collaboration of investigators and institutions to undertake a comprehensive effort to listen to stakeholders and communities, perform landscape analyses of existing resources and prioritize next steps for systematic reviews with the goal of reducing health disparities.
“By establishing standards to improve the methods, conduct and reporting of systematic reviews specific to racial health equity, Cochrane can help reduce racial health disparities in the U.S.,” said Tiffany Duque, Cochrane senior officer, US Network.
