TCU Students Harness Design Thinking to Innovate Solutions for Healthcare Challenges
At the Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at Texas Christian University, first-year medical students immersed themselves in a dynamic learning experience. Using principles of design thinking, they tackled critical healthcare challenges affecting pregnant women and older adults. Throughout the week, these students applied ideation, prototyping, and testing, injecting vibrant creativity into a process aimed at addressing serious healthcare issues with a profound emphasis on empathy and understanding the unique needs of both patients and providers.
