Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) proudly marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its Dallas campus, commemorated by a vibrant ribbon-cutting ceremony held on March 20th. The expansion encompasses the establishment of the Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy and the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health, augmenting TTUHSC's academic offerings in the region. Beyond these flagship programs, the Dallas campus serves as a hub for various initiatives within the School of Nursing, amplifying TTUHSC's commitment to delivering top-tier healthcare education tailored to the needs of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. President Lori Rice-Spearman, Ph.D., emphasized TTUHSC's dedication to excellence in healthcare education and its pivotal role in addressing the region's healthcare challenges. With a substantial alumni base of 8,726 individuals residing in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, TTUHSC's influence extends deeply into the community, fostering collaboration and driving innovation in healthcare delivery. Furthermore, the economic impact of TTUHSC's operations at the Dallas campus is significant, injecting $36.4 million annually into the local economy and sustaining approximately 150 jobs statewide.
