UTSW is Awarded $2M from CPRIT to Recruit a New Scientist to Study Skin Cancer

The Cancer Prevention and Research Institute approved nearly $90 million in awards for cancer research, including $2 million in funding for The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

The $2 million awarded to UTSW is a recruitment grant to relocate Siqi Liu, Ph.D., from Rockefeller University to UTSW. Recruitment grants help to bring “the brightest cancer researchers to Texas,” institute CEO Wayne Roberts said in a statement.
