Battelle and Spark Biomedical Join Forces on Non-Invasive Neurostimulation Device for Acute Stress Reactions

Battelle, the world's largest non-profit R&D company, and Spark Biomedical, a leader in wearable neurostimulation, are partnering on a $1.15 million Phase II grant to develop a non-invasive device addressing Acute Stress Reactions (ASR).

Following Phase I benchmarking with combat medics, Battelle's medical device team, specializing in advanced materials and data science, collaborates with Spark on the Sparrow Hawk device for clinical trials. These trials aim to evaluate the device's efficacy in restoring cognitive performance in simulated battlefield stress environments.
