CPRIT Names Kristen Doyle as New CEO, Continuing Legacy of Leadership

The governing body of the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) has appointed Kristen Doyle as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1. Doyle, currently serving as Deputy Executive Officer and General Counsel, will succeed Wayne Roberts, who is stepping down after 12 years of leadership.

With extensive experience at CPRIT since 2009 and a background in law, including a role as partner at an Austin-based firm, Doyle brings a wealth of expertise to her new position. As a cancer survivor herself, she brings a unique perspective to the role and is committed to advancing CPRIT's mission in cancer research and prevention.
