EY US Releases Second Annual Health Equity Outlook Report

Ernst & Young LLP (EY US) has released its Center for Health Equity’s second annual Health Equity Outlook Report. The report, based on a survey of 500 health equity leaders, highlights how organizations across the health value chain are prioritizing investments and activities to achieve health equity goals. Key findings reveal that health equity remains a significant focus, with 98% of executives expecting prioritization to either remain at current levels or increase in 2024. Additionally, 92% of organizations plan to increase financial investment in health equity activities over the next year. According to Susan Garfield, EY Americas Chief Public Health Officer, while progress has been made, there is still much work to be done to address the comprehensive clinical and social needs of underserved populations.
