Mark Cuban's Cost Plus Drug Company to Commence Pharmaceutical Manufacturing in Texas

During a White House roundtable on lowering health care costs, co-founder and CEO Dr. Alex Oshmyansky announced that The Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company will commence manufacturing its own medications in Texas. Oshmyansky highlighted the company's commitment to bringing pharmaceutical manufacturing back to the U.S. using advanced robotic and AI computer vision technology, enabling rapid pivoting between drug types. The company, launched in January 2022 with billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban, will initially produce commercial batches of epinephrine and norepinephrine for hospital patients in intensive care, with plans to expand to pediatric oncology drugs shortly thereafter.
