NexPoint Trustee Honored for Impactful Leadership in Mutual Fund Governance

NexPoint Funds Trustee Dorri McWhorter has been recognized by Fund Board Views as one of the top 10 women making a difference in mutual fund governance, published on International Women’s Day. McWhorter, known for her socially-conscious leadership, joined the NexPoint Funds Board of Trustees in May 2022, bringing invaluable experience as president and CEO of YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago. Her diverse professional background includes accounting, where she served as a partner at a leading U.S. accounting firm and held governance roles in financial organizations such as the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society. McWhorter's commitment to gender equality extends beyond finance, as she led initiatives to develop an ETF for women’s empowerment and co-chairs the Advisory Board of the First Women’s Bank.
