Medical City Launches $50M Expansion Project for Enhanced Healthcare Services

Medical City McKinney is embarking on an impressive $50 million expansion initiative, introducing a five-story, 124,500-square-foot medical office building adjacent to the hospital. This significant expansion aims to accommodate an influx of high-level medical specialists and crucial services, including cardiology and orthopedics, slated for opening in the summer of 2025. This development follows the recent opening of a $17 million women’s hospital in November 2023 and a $64 million patient tower with an expanded ER in December 2021. Executed in three phases, this project strategically addresses the needs of the vibrant and growing community. The first phase entails the construction of a new parking lot on the west side of the campus, offering over 550 additional spots to enhance the convenience for patients, visitors, and staff alike.
