Rebecca J. Landa, a prominent figure in autism research, has been awarded the 2024 Thomas F. Campbell Callier Prize in Communication Disorders by The University of Texas at Dallas Callier Center for Communication Disorders. This prestigious honor recognizes her leadership in advancing scientific understanding and treatment of communication disorders. Dr. Landa, a professor at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and founding executive director of the Center for Autism Services, Science, and Innovation at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, has made significant contributions to autism research, including establishing the heritability of autism spectrum disorder.
